Unser Team [B]SETI.Germany[/B] setzt in diesem Jahr seinen neuartigen Wettbewerb fort und lädt alle Boinc-Teams herzlich zum [B]4. BOINC PENTATHLON 2013[/B] ein. Vorbild ist der Fünfkampf aus der Antike.

[B]Start ist wieder der 05.05.2013 (00.00 Uhr UTC) und Ende am - 18.05.2013 (23.59 Uhr UTC).[/B]

Wie im antiken Griechenland, so wird auch der BOINC Pentathlon in 5 verschiedenen Disziplinen stattfinden. Das heißt innerhalb von 14 Tagen werden 5 verschiedene Projekte 5 Tage lang gecruncht - Projekte finden also auch zeitgleich statt.

Jedes Team, das am BOINC Pentathlon teilnehmen möchte, muss sich auf [url=http://www.seti-germany.de/boinc_pentathlon/anmeldung.php?lang=de]dieser[/url] Seite anmelden [B](bis zum 27.04.2013 möglich)[/B].
Auch in diesem Jahr könnt ihr Euren Favoriten in der jeweiligen Disziplin bestimmen. Das Projekt, welches am meisten vorgeschlagen wird, wird dann auch gerechnet.

[B]Neue Regeln 2013

1. Alle Disziplinen werden ab sofort 5 Tage vor Beginn bekannt gegeben (nicht mehr 1 Woche)

2. Eine der fünf Disziplinen ist eine Marathon-Disziplin. Sie wird das gesamte Pentathlon über gerechnet (oder bis keine Workunits mehr verfügbar sind). Die Punktevergabe ist identisch mit den übrigen Disziplinen.[/B]

Im vergangenen Jahr war es bis zuletzt sehr spannend.

Wir würden uns freuen, wenn Ihr daran teilnehmen würdet.

Team [B]SETI.Germany[/B] continues it's new invented challenge and invites all BOINC-Teams to participate in the [B]4.rd BOINC PENTATHLON[/B], following the ideals of the ancient Pentathlon.

[B]It will start May the 5th 2013 (00:00 UTC) and will end May the 18th 2013 (23:59 UTC).[/B]

Like in the ancient Greece, the Pentathlon will be held in 5 disciplines. That means within 14 days the participants will have to crunch 5 different projects, all of them for a period of 5 days. That said, you can easily see that some projects will have to be crunched at the same time.

Each team that would like to participate has to [URL=http://www.seti-germany.de/boinc_pentathlon/anmeldung.php?&lang=en]sigh up[/URL] until [B]April the 27. th 2013[/B]. Like in the last year the favourites in the different disciplines can be chosen by every team on their own. The project that gaines the most voices will be crunched.

(But before suggesting other projects, please check if the project and/or their servers would be able to withstand the combined BOINC forces. We do not want to bring any project server down.)
